Dear friends! I sincerely congratulate you on the bright celebration of the Resurrection of Christ! Christ is risen!
Easter is the celebration of the greatest victory accomplished by our Lord Jesus Christ. It is the victory of light over darkness, good over evil, and life over death. That is why the apostle Paul joyfully exclaims: “O death, where is your sting? O Hades, where is your victory?”
The Holy Scripture tells us that all people have sinned and fall short of the glory of God, and that the wages of sin is death (Romans 3:23; 6:23). But the great love of God was revealed in that Christ came into this world to save the lost. He took our sins upon Himself, died for us, and rose again, giving people hope for a new life.
The apostle Paul reminds us of an important truth: Christ died for all so that those who live should no longer live for themselves, but for Him who died for them and rose again. In these words the deep meaning of the Christian life is revealed. An encounter with Christ changes a person. It changes the heart, values, and life goals. Paul himself was once a persecutor of the Church, but meeting the risen Christ completely transformed his life. The One whose name he once tried to destroy became the most precious to him. From that moment, the main purpose of the apostle’s life became knowing Christ and the power of His resurrection.
This calling remains relevant for every Christian today. The resurrection of Christ reminds us that our life does not belong only to us. We are called to live for the Lord who gave Himself for us and granted us salvation.
May the light of Christ’s resurrection renew our hearts, strengthen our faith, and fill us with living hope. May the words of the apostle Paul become ever clearer in our lives: “For to me, to live is Christ.”
Christ is risen! Indeed He is risen!
