At the beginning of March, a special Bible celebration for preschool children titled “Heavenly Armor” was held at the “Spring of Life” Church. This event was not only bright and joyful, but also a deep and thoughtfully designed immersion into the spiritual world, accessible even to the youngest participants.
The program was carefully structured with consideration for child psychology and the principles of Christian education. Through a puppet show, interactive games, and creative activities, the children were introduced to important biblical truths found in Chapter 6 of the Epistle to the Ephesians. The image of the “armor of God” was presented in a clear and imaginative way—as protection for the heart, thoughts, and actions, and as an inner support that helps one do good and stand against evil.
The special value of this approach lies in the fact that children do not just hear the message—they experience it through movement, play, creativity, and emotional engagement. Abstract spiritual truths become personal experiences for them, shaping their first moral foundations and building trust in God.
The celebration took place in an atmosphere of warmth, acceptance, and sincerity. The leaders gently guided the children, helping each one feel valued and safe. Through creative tasks, the children not only reinforced what they had learned but also expressed their understanding through crafts and play.
“Heavenly Armor” served as a reminder that even the deepest spiritual truths can be communicated in a way that is understandable to a child—through the language of love, imagery, and active participation—laying a strong foundation for future spiritual growth.
