On January 25, the first water baptism of 2026 took place at Bryte Church. On this day, 22 people entered into a covenant with the Lord. Most of them were young people aged 15 and older.
Over the course of six months, the candidates prepared for baptism by attending weekly classes, meeting with church ministers and pastors, and studying the foundations of faith, church doctrines, and spiritual disciplines. This period became a time of spiritual growth for them, strengthening their faith and leading them to make a conscious decision to follow Christ.
The course was led by Mikhail Yuryevich Avramenko and Yuri Leonidovich Sheyko. Through their ministry, participants were able to gain a deeper understanding of the meaning of baptism and their personal responsibility before God and the church.
This day became a true celebration for the entire congregation — a time of joy, gratitude to God, and special spiritual unity.
Currently, a new group is already being formed at the church to prepare for the next baptism, which is planned for May.
