For a while now, we have been writing about Viktor and Tatyana Kovba who are receiving some support from our Association and other churches in California. After they moved to Spain, they planted the Light of Life Church at Torrevieja. By God’s grace, and thanks to their efforts, this church began to grow quickly. However, their team of hard-working ministers have been going through some difficult trials lately.
Just like with the story of Job, during the short period of time, they experienced one challenge following another. First, they lost their job which was what they depended on to support themselves and the ministry of the church. Then, Tatyana’s previous health condition got triggered, and they had to undergo a serious brain surgery. The insurance was able to cover only a portion of the surgery. At the present time, they do not have the means to cover for the aftercare and the medicine.
In addition to that, their Polish passports were expired and they were asked to come in person to get an extension. The bank froze all their accounts and gave them a deadline until August 22 to resolve all their issues.
As a result, despite Tatyana’s critical health condition, they had to travel to Poland the long way.
For some reason, the Lord allowed these trials for their family, but we believe that He also will guide them through everything that they are going through. He is faithful to help His children through other of His children. Perhaps even now the Lord is filling someone’s heart with compassion for Viktor and Tatyana and is moving them to pray and to provide for their needs. They are in dire need of this support.
You can support them through a website of Connect International mission. Under the Donations section of Designation, please mark the name of the missionary: Kovba, Viktor.
