“Whoever believes and is baptized will be saved” (Mark 16:16).
On November 9, the Slavic Church in San Diego held a special service in one of the most picturesque places — Ski Beach. On this day, two brothers, Denis and Eric, and sister Tanya received Holy Water Baptism and entered into a covenant with God.
The weather was beautiful, and the service was truly blessed. Inspiring hymns and the preaching of God’s Word were heard, encouraging everyone present to remember their own day of baptism and the path they have walked since then. Our friends reaffirmed their desire to be baptized and publicly confessed their faith in Jesus Christ as their Savior.
That same day, at the House of Prayer, Denis, Tatyana, and Eric participated for the first time in Communion — the ordinance of remembering the suffering and death of Jesus Christ. After the service, there were congratulations, warm wishes, and heartfelt fellowship at the beautifully prepared tables, where our newly baptized brothers and sister continued to receive words of joy and support.
