On September 7, 2025, the Saints of Sac event brought together close to 500 young adults from across the Pacific Coast Slavic Baptist Association (PCSBA) for an inspiring night dedicated to the theme "Scripture over Tradition." Hosted at Bryte Church, this gathering aimed to emphasize the primacy of Scripture in the faith of believers aged 16 to 25, encouraging them to uphold Biblical truths amidst cultural pressures.
The evening featured dynamic worship led by the talented Bryte Band, whose uplifting music created an atmosphere of praise and community. The highlight of the event was a powerful message delivered by Tony Arnds from Folsom Church. In his address, Arnds emphasized the importance of looking to Scripture as the ultimate authority in the life of a Christian. He referenced 2 Timothy 3:16-17, a foundational passage that reminds us that all Scripture is "God-breathed," serving as a guide for teaching, correcting, and equipping believers for good works.
Arnds’ message resonated deeply with the audience, affirming that while traditions can be valuable, they must always be aligned with biblical principles to be genuinely effective in a believer’s life. His passionate delivery and engaging anecdotes reminded attendees of the importance of grounding their faith in the Word of God.
The event also facilitated opportunities for fellowship, encouraging the youth to connect with one another and foster relationships rooted in shared faith and purpose. The vibrant atmosphere reflected a generation eager to embrace their faith actively and encourage one another in their spiritual journeys.
In a world where tradition often takes precedence, Saints of Sac stood as a reminder that Scripture remains our only and final authority, guiding the next generation towards a deeper understanding of their faith.
