On June 28, the New Hope Church served their city of Rancho Cordova once again, and had a great time of spreading God’s love and evangelizing the locals! During this time, they distributed over 6,000 invitations to church. This is the sixth year in a row that the church has had this type of Block Party. With every year, the Lord is drawing more and more people!
The guests were greeted by live Christian worship, great food, fun activities, and most importantly, an atmosphere of experiencing God’s presence and the ability to hear the Word of Life. Over 300 people, including children, were able to attend this event. The children had a special program in the form of crafts, games, cotton candy, and a small petting zoo! There was a lot of joy and laughter. That was the true reward for the organizers.
This event was truly a great blessing. People were coming over to express their gratitude, and were also able to share their concerns, as well as appreciation of the opportunity to hear about Christ. However, that was not the end of this ministry opportunity!
On July 4, while celebrating Independence Day, the New Hope Church became part of the annual city parade in the city of Rancho Cordova. Over 120 Christians, including the youth and children, were walking together by the well-decorated platform, and were able to do live worship of our God. There was a lot of joy, unity, and the power of the Holy Spirit that filled all the streets!
During the parade they were able to distribute 300 Bibles and Gospel tracts. Each one of those tracts is like a seed that is sown into the heart which will bear its fruit in its time. Praise the Lord for this opportunity to be the light of the Gospel for our city! May His Name be glorified in everything!
