On May 31, the quiet town of Escondido, CA had an insightful women’s conference with a theme of: “Light of God’s Love: Breaking Free from Inner Enemies.” Close to 60 women were able to attend this event, including children. This was a time of close fellowship and mutual support.
Maria Gusenkova and Alena Mileyeva were the speakers who shared their testimonies and insightful thoughts concerning God’s love, and the power of the Gospel. The conference participants had an opportunity to discuss various issues such as breaking free from sin, judgmentalism, unforgiveness, dealing with turmoil, and doubts which are sometimes hidden in their hearts.
The conference began at 9:30am and concluded after 3:00pm. They also had an opportunity to offer prayers for each other, to fellowship, and be encouraged by one another. The participants were especially touched by the opportunity to openly talk about their struggles and be strengthened by other women in the faith.
The conference left a lasting impact and deepened the understanding of the power of God’s love, and inspired women to pursue freedom and healing from the inner bonds. This event became not just a useful help in the lives of these participants, but also a wonderful opportunity to strengthen the bonds of women of the church.
